Important: COVID Alert for Meadow Ridge School

To our Meadow Ridge School Community,
A case of COVID-19 has been diagnosed in an individual who was within Meadow Ridge School. As always, our thoughts remain with this individual and their family. We wish them a safe and speedy recovery.
Out of respect to privacy and in accordance with AHS guidelines, we cannot disclose personal health information of any individual. However, we are able to share that we learned of this positive COVID-19 case on Friday May 28, 2021. We understand that the individual was last in the school on Wednesday May 26, 2021.
Public Health, supported by Foothills School Division, has informed all individuals identified as being a close contact with this case. We remind families to continue monitoring for any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 using the Alberta Health Daily Checklist. If you or a member of your family has any of the symptoms of illness listed, please fill out the online Alberta Health Services COVID-19 self-assessment.
The health and safety of our students, staff, and community is paramount. We know this news can be distressing and support is available, you are encouraged to visit our Parent Learning Link, Student Learning Link, or review the resources available to support your family from the Calgary Rural Primary Care Network.
Please rest assured that we will continue to work closely with Alberta Health Services and the Medical Officer of Health in the Calgary Zone to ensure that we follow their ongoing recommendations.
