The Faces Behind Meadow Ridge

Acknowledging the Land

Meadow Ridge School is located on Treaty 7, home of the Blackfoot.  To honor indigenous perspectives and to truly acknowledge the land the school is built on it is important “to tell the story of the land and to acknowledge the people who keep the stories of the land” (Wolfleg, 2018).   We want to honor the people who have come before us and who have had their hand and heart in making Meadow Ridge School come to life.
